If you only have a single day in Buenos Aires or you would like to tour a mix of both city and nature, this is the perfect tour for you!
Through this journey, you can experience the contrast of these two different sides of Buenos Aires: the exciting and energetic capital city and the relaxing and peaceful Tigre Delta.
In the first half of the day, we tour the city and its main highlights. Traveling by car, you can get an overview in just a few hours. We discover different aspects of Argentina’s history, economy, politics, and general culture.
We visit the downtown area (Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada, the Cabildo, and the Metropolitan Cathedral), La Boca, and Recoleta. We can tailor the tour to fit your particular interests, so if you prefer to visit a special place in this first part of the tour, just let us know!
In the second half of the day, we drive to Tigre. Just a short distance from the city, it is a completely different experience in this water community with no roads. We will head to the fluvial port where we will board a typical catamaran passenger ferry sailing for about an hour through the Delta rivers. As we sail, with your guide always by your side, we will explore the origin of the Delta islands, its inhabitants, as well as traditional floating services such as the supermarket, firemen, and public bus boats. On our ride we will also see historical palaces and yacht clubs and discover some of its many stories.
