Enjoy a full day of hiking in Mendoza with amazing views!

This tour is designed for travelers who want to experience breathtaking views while doing a full-day hike to relax your mind. Choose from two different route options:

The Aconcagua (6,961 meters /22,837.3 feet) is the tallest mountain in the Americas, the tallest summit outside of the Himalayas, and is visited by 10,000 people annually. This hike through the Andes takes us to the Confluence camp, at 3,400 meters/11,555 feet, following the Horcones river. Here we have lunch, and after recovering our strength, we head back to Mendoza by international route 7, a beautiful and strategic road, seeing scenic places along the way, such as Potrerillos Dam, Uspallata village, and Inca’s bridge, among others.

Vallecitos (Little Valleys) belongs to the highest mountain range of the Andes in Mendoza, where Aconcagua Mountain is located, among others. In Vallecitos, it is possible to climb some high peaks thanks to the elevation of the zone, making this hike wonderful and easy at the same time. This place is chosen by many local climbers as a training step, as they can climb up to three peaks during the same day. After a few hours of hiking, you can reach an amazing view of the three mountain ranges of the Andes (from lowest to highest: piedemonte, precordillera, and cordillera) and their valleys. We have lunch at the top of a peak, and then we go back to town before sunset.

We suggest you have a light dinner and good rest the night before, wear comfortable and warm clothes (don’t forget a windbreaker jacket), hiking shoes, hat/cap, sun protection, and sunglasses. We supply you with a rucksack, poles, water and food for the walk, and sandwiches for lunch.

The activity level is moderate, and experience in hiking is not required as long as you are fit and have resistance.
